It's no surprise that I found myself wanting to write an article about this, I am a member of both Digg and Newsvine, contribute to each, and like them both equally for their individual strengths.

July 25th. Yep, that's the day my life changes forever. That is my ship date for Basic Training with the United States Army. I go to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for 10 weeks of motivating, challenging, and life changing experiences to mold me into a solider.

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. Like so many others her age, she considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, and was very much in favor of the redistribution of wealth.

Are you going on a cruise this summer, or thinking about going on one? I just got back from mine, and it was a blast! I had little to no bad experiences, and I thought I'd share some of the information I collected, and some I wish I'd have known prior to going.

It's not everyday my mediocre city is put on national news, but it is no surprise that such news coverage started buzzing after the recent events that occurred in an area I pass by many times a week.

Let me start off by saying this neither reflects the nation (that I know of), nor probably the subset of the people I am about to describe.

I've been a fitness-guy for a while now. I'm slowly becoming religiously a gym-bum, I'm there like clockwork every day I can be, and if I'm not there, I make it out to the track or somewhere to get my workout in.
